Hello Folks!

Another succesfull year comes to an end.
First of all a big THANK YOU to all and everyone who was supporting us over the year especially you for buying our albums and giving us great support on our concerts. In 2012 there will be more of Morphelia:

The year 2011 began with our SpringProgConcerts on April 8th. We were lucky enough having our good friends from Leap Day from the Netherlands joining us on stage for giving you a double headlining concert. Again the "Glashaus" was the right location for this. So big thanks go out to Werner and his Crew from the "Glashaus". We´ll be back in 2012 with another edition of our SpringProgConcert.

On May 6th we had our "Evening with Morphelia" at "Mühle Westgaste". Again this was a big success for us and a very nice evening in a very familiar location. Big thanks and hugs go out to Regine from "Mühle Westgaste".

Our last gig in 2011 was the support-slot for The Watch in Rüsselshein at "Das Rind". Not only because of supporting The Watch this evening was really great. Also the reactions from the crowd were overwhelming for us. A big big THANK YOU to the Crew and to Oli and Tom from Progressive Promotion Records (www.ppr-shop.de).

In the meantime between the gigs we were and still are working hard on new Morphelia music for our next album. As ever we have no deadline for an album release but we promise we´ll play some new Morphelia Music on our next Gigs in 2012.

In the next days we´ll upload some pictures from our Gig in Rüsselsheim. So have a visit in the next days on www.morphelia.de.

Hi folks!

After having played our support gig for THE WATCH in Rüsselsheim we´re back in our studio to work on our new material.
But first of all we have to thank the following people for giving us the opportunity to play in Rüsselsheim. Big thanks and hugs go out to Oliver and Tom of PROGRESSIVE-PROMOTION-RECORDS, the Watch, our Merchandising Crew Achim & Co., the Team of "Das Rind" in Rüsselsheim and of course to everyone of you who was there with us.

In the newest issue of german rock magazine "eclipsed" there´s a story about the german prog scene. We can´t believe it but we´re in that story, too. Our album "Waken The Nightmare" is stated as the best german prog album for the year 2009. Woooww.

Hello everyone!

We're back from our summer break and still alive and creative.
By now we're working on two things at the same time. On the one hand we are working hard on our forthcoming third album release. The first bits and pieces of music are ready to record and sounding great new and fresh.
On the other hand we're preparing for our gig in Rüsselsheim on November 11th supporting The Watch.

Hello everyone!

By now we´re in the middle of the songwriting sessions for our new album to come. But beside this we would love to play a few live gig as an escape from the studio. So here´s the first live date for 2011:

Morphelia live at Glashaus Moorlage
(www.glashaus-das-blumen-cafe.de Oldendorfer Str. 34, 26629 Großefehn)
on Friday April 8th 2011
doors open: 19:30 h, begin: 20:00 h
Tickets available only at the door for 8,00 EUR per ticket

For this gig we´ve invited our friends from "Leap Day" (leapday.nl) to join us on stage. So we will play a double headlining "spring prog" concert. We´ll open the evening and Leap Day will be the second band of the evening.

Also our current album "Waken The Nightmare" is still a topic in the rock-press. In the german prog-magazine "eclipsed" (www.eclipsed.de) we´ve been voted #8 of the best underground releases in 2010 and in the current issue of "eclipsed" their readers have voted our album on #17 of the TOP 40 albums. Thank you very much for this.

Dear People!

For us a very succesfull year 2010 is coming to an end.
We would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to all of our fans, distribution partners, promoters and supporters. Without you this year wouldn´t have been that successfull for us.
2010 began with a freeze gig at Meta´s Musikschuppen in Norddeich, Germany. Although the wheather was very bad this gig was a nearly sold out. We even could welcome our friends from the Netherlands at that winter gig. Another thing was our summer gig together with our friends "Flamborough Head". It was really more than hot on that day, but we had a lot of fun and the gig went really well. Big thanx to the Flambis!!!
Closing the live gig section for 2010 we were playing a support slot at Alte Webschule in Bramsche. And although we only were the support band on that gig many people came only to see us.
But not only live gigs came our way. You could also find us in the national and international press and forums on the internet. And also our net of distribution partners was build up. By now we´re able to sell our records nearly all over the world.

For 2011 we´re by now planning a few more gigs and also are working on our next album to come. A thrilling year 2011 is to come up. So stay tuned and prog on.

Hello people!

On July 9th 2010 we´ll entering the stage at "Glashaus Moorlage" together with our dear friends from Holland "Flamborough Head". Doors open will be at 19:30 h. We´re going to open this special summer prog evening with a special setlist including songs from our two albums released by now and an exclusive look into the future on our forthcoming album.

Flamborough Head will be playing as second band that evening. With their latest release "Looking for John Maddock", they´ve released an album which is a must have for seventies influenced melodic progressive rock fans.

Not to be missed!!

Hello people!

Yes, you´re right. The next Morphelia newsletter is coming your way.
In the meantime we´ve been really busy. We managed to form cooperations with several distribution partners all over the world. So our two albums "Prognocircus" (2003) and "Waken The Nightmare" (2009) are by now available worldwide.
Because of this the incoming orders reached a level were we´ve never been before. We are really proud and happy about this and can gladly tell you that we are working on our next album with new and fresh Morphelia-Music.

But there´s also one negative thing to be told:
Our gig on Juli 9th 2010 at Meta´s Musikschuppen in Norddeich has just being canceled by the organizer. We are really very disappointed about this because the organizer has booked a coverband to fill up our space.

We really want to play a concert on July 9th 2010 so we´re looking round for another location. We´ll keep you informed in our next newsletters.
